- CMU's +13 rebounding margin was its largest against a Division I opponent this season.
- Every Chippewa that played in the game grabbed at least one rebound and nine of the 11 who saw action scored.
- After starting the game 5-for-5 from 3-point range, the Chippewas made just 1-of-13 the rest of the way, going 0-for-5 in the second half. Five of CMU's first six buckets in the game were from behind the arc.
- Trey Zeigler blocked a career-high four shots.
- Darrell Lampley, EMU's leading scorer on the season, played just three minutes in the second half after tallying six points in the opening frame.
- The Chippewas' .469 field goal percentage was the best CMU has shot in the last 11 games.
- Reserve guard John Morris picked up two assists in the game. In MAC play, he has nine assists to just one turnover.
- The Chippewas swept the season series with EMU, improving head coach Ernie Zeigler's record to 8-5 against the Eagles.
- Austin McBroom's team-high 14 points marked the fourth time this season he has led the Chippewas in scoring and his 15th double-figure game of the year.
- The Chippewas had 15 offensive rebounds in the game, nearly as many as the Eagles did on the defensive end (17).
- Derek Jackson scored CMU's first six points of the game on a pair of 3-pointers but he did not score after that.
- CMU led the entire game. The Chippewas never trailed in five of their eight wins this season.
