CMU vs. Buffalo: Postgame Notes

• Olivier Mbaigoto led CMU in scoring for the second straight game. It also marked the second time this season he has scored double figures in back-to-back games.
• Andre Coimbra blocked two shots to raise his career total to 61. He needs 13 more to tie for 10th on CMU's career chart.
• Austin Keel came off the bench to score 11 points for CMU. It marked his third double-figure game of the season and the most he's scored since leading the Chippewas with 12 points in the season opener against Ferris State.
• Trey Zeigler played just 15 minutes in the game. He suffered an injury diving for a loose ball in the stands.
• Buffalo's Zach Filzen scored 12 points in the first half on four 3-pointers but CMU held him without a shot attempt in the second frame.
• Buffalo won the battle of the boards 48-27. The 21-board deficit was CMU's largest since Western Michigan grabbed 22 more caroms than the Chippewas in 2005. Buffalo entered the game ranked sixth nationally in rebounding margin (+8.5) and third nationally in rebounding offense (41.6 rpg).
• Buffalo's 66 points was the second-lowest offensive output of their 15 wins this season. The Bulls entered the game averaging a league-leading 73.5 points.
• The Chippewas committed just four turnovers in the game.
• CMU's eight-game losing streak is its longest since dropping eight straight during the 2005 season.
