Game Notes: Central Michigan Travels to Kent State

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Coming off what head coach Keno Davis called "probably our best game of the season" after a taking undefeated Akron to the wire, Central Michgian sets its sites on Kent State for another road date in Ohio.
Central Michigan (9-13, 2-7 MAC) is 29-42 all-time against Kent State (12-11, 3-6 MAC) dating back to 1950. THe Golden Flashes have taken control over the series, winning the last 10 matchups. The Chippewas' most recent victory over Kent State came in the Mid-American Conference Tournament in 2003, when Central Michigan defeated the Golden Flashes 77-67 in the championship game.
Senior guard Kyle Randall has scored 20-plus points in three consecutive games, brining his scoring average in conference play to a league-high 19.4 ppg. Freshman guard Chris Fowler broke the program's Division I freshman assist record last time out, and is within five of tieing the program's all-time freshman record of 115.
