Reenders Earns MAC Volleyball Accolades

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Junior Kristen Reenders of the Central Michigan volleyball team was named the Mid-American Conference West Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Reenders headlined the Chippewas' defense in MAC road matches at Eastern Michigan and Kent State. She posted a 5.0 digs-per-set average (50 total) and successfully returned 42 of 44 (.955) receptions for the weekend.

She also contributed six assists and two service aces. Reenders led all players in digs against both Eastern Michigan (28) and Kent State (22). Reenders leads CMU regulars in reception percentage (.953) and entered the weekend ranked second in the MAC in digs with a 4.71 average.
