Bradford Named MAC West Player of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Crystal Bradford was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week in women's basketball.
It is the first time this season, and the 15th time in her career, that Bradford, a senior, has earned the honor.
Bradford scored 47 points in the Chippewas' two games in the Subway Classic at Minnesota, earning a spot on the five-player all-tournament team.
On Saturday, Bradford had 20 points and four rebounds in CMU's 80-45 loss to No. 1-ranked South Carolina. She followed up with 27 points, eight rebounds, seven steals, four assists and three blocks in a 67-64 loss on Sunday to once-beaten Minnesota.
South Carolina is 12-0, Minnesota is 11-1.
Bradford has scored in double digits in six-consecutive games and leads the Chippewas in scoring (20.0), rebounding (8.8) and steals (22).
