Bradford Repeats as MAC West Player of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Crystal Bradford has earned the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week in women's basketball for the second consecutive week.
Bradford, a senior from Detroit and the reigning MAC Player of the Year, scored 20 points - her seventh consecutive game in double figures - in leading the Chippewas to a 74-69 victory Sunday over Oakland.
She also had nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. She went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the victory, which lifted CMU to 5-5. It marks the 16th time in Bradford's career that she has earned divisional player of the week honors.
Bradford leads the Chippewas in scoring (20.0 points per game), rebounding (8.8), assists (3.8) and steals (2.7). The Chippewas play host to Dayton at McGuirk Arena in their final non-conference game on New Year's Eve at 1 p.m.
CMU goes to Kent State on Saturday for its Mid-American Conference opener.
