A look at how Central Michigan alums playing in the NFL fared over the weekend.
• Wide receiver Antonio Brown caught 16 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 34-27 comeback win over the Denver Broncos.
Brown’s 16-catch total is one shy of his career-best, which he set earlier this season against the Oakland Raiders. The 189 yards is his third-highest total this season and it marked the third time in his last six games that Brown has caught two TD passes. He has nine TD catches this season.
Brown’s big day moved him into first in the NFL in receiving yardage (1,586). He is second in the league with 116 receptions.
• Joe Staley drew his 128th consecutive start at offensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers in their 24-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
• Offensive tackle Eric Fisher made his 12th consecutive start for the Kansas City Chiefs in their 34-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
