MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Adam Rollman has been added to head coach Erik Olson's Central Michigan volleyball coaching staff.
Rollman, who will join the Chippewas as a full-time assistant, spent last season as the first assistant coach at Jacksonville, helping the Dolphins to the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament championships and a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
"Adam brings a lot of knowledge to the staff, learning from some great coaches through his developmental years as a young collegiate coach," Olson said. "He has a very good eye for recruiting, and he raises the level of practice with his intensity in his arm.
"His desire to learn is what I am most excited about. He loves the game, which will help our program to move forward. He is no stranger to hard work, and he has certainly paid his dues.
"We are very excited for Adam to join our volleyball family."
Rollman's main responsibilities at CMU will be recruiting, team travel, training outside hitters and overseeing defense.
Rollman, who played club volleyball as an undergrad at Nebraska, worked as the outside hitter coach and recruiting coordinator at Jacksonville.
Rollman has worked as a volunteer assistant coach at Iowa, Creighton and Nebraska Wesleyan. His resumé includes extensive coaching experience on the club and camp circuits.
