MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Kerby Tamm was named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference women's basketball team.
Tamm, a senior from Petoskey and an exercise science major, carries a 3.63 grade point average. She is one of 27 players from the league's 12 schools named to the team.
Tamm played in all 31 games for the Chippewas leading the team and the MAC in minutes played (35.7). The senior captain made a team-high 90 triples this season, placing her second all-time in three-point field goal percentage (.395) in program history.
Tamm made at least one 3-pointer in 29-of-31 games this season, including a career-high seven triples against Eastern Michigan. She became just the third player in program history to sink 200 triples, finishing her career with 211, third-best in program history.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of her team's events.
