MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan senior Kerby Tamm was named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Women's College Academic-Athletic Team for the 2014-15 season.
Tamm, a senior from Petoskey, carries a 3.63 grade point average. She led the Chippewas in minutes played, was named the team Most Valuable Player, and a team captain in 2014-15, during which the Chippewas finished 13-18 overall, 7-11 in the Mid-American Conference.
Tamm, an exercise science major, hit 90 three-pointers this season and finished her career with 211, becoming just the third player in school history with more than 200 career triples.
The BCAM Honor Team pays tribute to outstanding scholar-athletes from Michigan colleges and universities. Players must have reached sophomore standing, have participated in at least 50 percent of her team's games as a starter or key reserve, and carry a 3.0 or better GPA.
