Bueter Named West Offensive Player of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Jordan Bueter was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for volleyball.
Bueter, a junior from South Bend, Ind., recorded a season-high 26 kills in leading the Chippewas to a five-set victory over Buffalo; she finished with 21 kills in a five-set loss to Akron.
Bueter also finished with a combined three aces and accounted for 57 ½ points in the two matches. Bueter continues to pace the CMU offense with a team-high 270 kills on the season. She leads in kills per set, 3.33; aces, 39; and aces per set, 0.48.
Bueter ranks first in the MAC in aces and fourth in kills per set.
The Chippewas, 9-13 overall, 3-7 MAC, play host to Toledo on Thursday and to Ball State on Saturday.
