Six Chippewas Named to Academic All-MAC Volleyball Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Six Central Michigan student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference volleyball team.
To qualify for the team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and must have competed in at least 50 percent of her team's matches. Freshmen and first-year transfers are ineligible.
The Chippewas named to the team, along with their year, grade point average and major: Paige Carey, junior, 3.69, law and economics; Kelli Combs, sophomore, 3.58, accounting; Courtney Hiltibran, junior, 3.24, broadcast and cinematic arts; Jessica Meichtry, junior, 3.80, biology/biomedical sciences; Taylor Robertson, junior, 3.32, exercise science/kinesiology; Emily Wenglikowski, sophomore, 3.52, marketing.
It is the third consecutive year that Meichtry was named to the team, and the second-consecutive for Carey, Hiltibran and Robertson.
