Chippewas Earn All-Atlantic Sun Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Three members of the Central Michigan lacrosse team have earned post-season recognition from the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Jocelyne Lemay was named to the all-conference second team and the all-freshman team, while Logan Halvorson and Anna Schoonover were named to the all-freshman team.
The Chippewas finished 6-10 overall and 2-6 in the Atlantic Sun in their inaugural year of varsity lacrosse.
Lemay, who hails from Peterborough, Ont., led the Chippewas in both goals (35) and points (40). She was the league's sixth-leading goal scorer during the regular season.
Schoonover, of Egan, Minn., ranked second on the team with 13 assists and third in both goals (17) and points (30). Halvorson, of Lakeville, Minn., finished the year with 15 goals and 20 points.
