Seventeen Chippewas Named Academic All-MAC Lacrosse

Tied for largest group of Academic All-MAC honorees in program history
CLEVELAND — The Mid-American Conference announced a program-record-tying 17 members of Central Michigan Lacrosse on the 2026 Academic All-MAC team Thursday morning.

To qualify for Academic All-MAC status, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of contests in the 2026 season. First-year members of the team, as freshmen or incoming transfers are not eligible.

Barratt became the 15th player in program history to earn the accolade three times.

The program carried a 3.61 grade-point average through the spring semester across 33 players on the roster—six achieved a 4.0 GPA, 23 reached or bested a 3.5 GPA.
