Robertson, Bueter Named To Preseason All-MAC Squad

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Jordan Bueter and Taylor Robertson were named to the All-Mid-American Conference West Division Team in a preseason poll of league coaches.
Bueter, a 6-foot junior outside hitter from South Bend, Ind., led the Chippewas in 2015 with 361 kills and her 42 aces ranked second in the MAC. She earned All-MAC honorable mention last fall.
Robertson, a 6-1 junior outside hitter from Midland, recorded 312 kills last season.
The Chippewas were picked to finish fourth in the MAC West. CMU opens the 2016 season this weekend at the IUPUI Hampton Inn Invitational. It marks the debut of Mike Gawlik as the Chippewas' head coach.
Northern Illinois was picked to win the West, followed by Western Michigan, Ball State, the Chippewas, Eastern Michigan and Toledo.
Miami (Ohio) was picked to win the East. Kent State was second, followed by Ohio, Buffalo, Bowling Green and Akron.
Miami was selected as the overall conference champion as well as the league-tournament champ.
