SETTING THE SCENE
• The Central Michigan volleyball team will take on two Mid-American Conference opponents on the road this weekend.
• The Chippewas (10-8, 2-4 MAC) will first face Miami (Ohio) on Friday (7 p.m.) and then will take on Bowling Green on Saturday (7 p.m.).
LAST WEEK
CMU split a pair of MAC matches last weekend. The Chippewas defeated Eastern Michigan in five sets in Ypsilanti, then dropped a three-setter at home to Kent State.
CHIPPEWA LEADERS
• CMU's Jordan Bueter leads the MAC in kills with 281, while freshman Grace Butler ranks third in assists (660).
SCOUTING
• Miami is 12-7, 4-2 MAC and is riding a three-game win streak after topping Buffalo and Akron last weekend.
• Margaret Payne leads the RedHawks with 204 kills.
• Bowling Green (9-8, 5-1 MAC) has won its last five contests. The team's sole league loss was a 3-1 decision to Miami in its conference opener.
• Jacqueline Askin has recorded 154 kills to lead the Falcons.

Central Michigan will return home to entertain Buffalo (9-8, 2-4 MAC) on Friday, Oct 20, and then will face Akron the following night.
