• Central Michigan plays two home Atlantic SUN games this weekend, beginning on Friday with Coastal Carolina. The Chippewas play Furman (4-4, 0-1) on Sunday (10:30 a.m.).
• The Chippewas split their two games last weekend, their first against ASUN opponents. They fell to Mercer, 15-8; and beat Kennesaw State, 17-16.
• Freshman Emma Hamilton scored five goals to lead CMU in the victory over Kennesaw State.
• Jocelyne Lemay, who scored three goals on Sunday, leads the Chippewas and is tied for second in the ASUN with 25 goals.
• The Chippewas' Riley Huda ranks second in the league with 19 assists.
• CMU goalie Dominique Hamman is fifth in the ASUN with 64 saves.
• As a team, CMU ranks third in the league with 105 goals, is second in ground balls (215), and is first in saves (100) and save percentage (45.7).
• Coastal Carolina defeated Furman, 15-8, in its ASUN opener on Sunday, snapping a four-game losing streak.
• Sophie Crowther leads the Chanticleers with 17 goals and 25 points. Keri White is second with 15 goals.
• Among ASUN goalies who have logged at least 300 minutes, Coastal Carolina's Harley Barrett ranks second in the conference with 64 goals allowed behind Furman's Maggie Friel (45).
• Furman's loss last Sunday to Coastal Carolina ended the Paladins' three-game win streak.
• Abby Shields and Paige Gamble are Furman's top two scorers with 17 and 16 goals, respectively. Shields leads the team in points with 31.
• Furman opens the weekend with a game at Detroit Mercy on Friday.
• The Chippewas are scheduled to play two games in Florida next weekend. On Friday, they go to Stetson in DeLand, and on Sunday they play at Jacksonville.
