Five Chippewas Earn Academic All-MAC

Senior Emily Wenglikowski honored for third consecutive season
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Five Central Michigan volleyball players were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference squad for the 2018 season.
The five Chippewas, along with their year, grade point average, and major: Megan Kern, junior, 3.97, biomedical science; Lyza Myers, sophomore, 3.35, undeclared; Hannah Warners, sophomore, 3.61, therapeutic recreation; Emily Wenglikowski, senior, 3.51, marketing; Jayla Wesley, junior, 3.64, mechanical engineering.
It marks the third consecutive year that Wenglikowski has earned Academic All-MAC honors. Kern and Wesley were named to the squad for the second straight time.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in 50 percent or more of her team's games.
