Lemay Earns SoCon Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Jocelyne Lemay was named the Sothern Conference Athlete February Athlete of the Month for women's lacrosse.

Lemay, a junior midfielder from Peterborough, Ont., led the Chippewas to a 2-2 record in February. In the four games, Lemay totaled seven goals and two assists on 17 shots, 13 of which were on goal. She also accumulated six ground balls and 15 draw controls.

The Chippewas (2-3) return to the field on Sunday, March 11, when CMU entertains Michigan in a nonconference game at the CMU Lacrosse Soccer Complex.
