Chippewa lacrosse to added 11 for 2021 season
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan lacrosse coach Sara Tisdale announced today her 2020 class of signees. The class comprises 11 future Chippewa student-athletes who hail from six states and one Canadian province.
"The 2020 class is very diverse, and they will add incredible depth to our roster," said Tisdale, who is in her fifth year in charge of the CMU program. "Players hail from some of the best high school and club teams in the country and their experience on the field will have an immediate impact.
"Academically, the 2020 class is very talented, and they will carry on our program's mission to be leaders in the classroom and on the field."
The 11 student-athletes will join the program for the 2021 season, which coincides with the inaugural season of women's lacrosse in the Mid-American Conference. The Chippewas will play their third and final season in the Southern Conference in 2020; they competed in the Atlantic SUN in their first two years as a varsity sport.
