Moffo Earns MAC Honor For Second Consecutive Week

Chippewa senior rewarded for first-place finish at Jesse Owens Classic
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Shane Moffo earned the Mid-American Conference Male Track Athlete of the Week Award for the second-consecutive week on Tuesday for his performance at the 34th Jesse Owens Classic at Ohio State.
Moffo, who hails from Farmington Hills, Mich., won the 110-meter hurdles at Ohio State with a 13.91-second clocking, which was just shy of the season-best 13.87 that he recorded one week earlier at the Virginia Challenge.
Moffo's 13.87 is the top time in the event this season for a MAC hurdler. He is ranked 24th nationally.
