Coach Mac Show Debuts On Thursday

Come to Hunter's and meet coaches, athletes and talk Chippewa athletics
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Coach Mac Show debuts on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will take the live audience and radio listeners inside coach Jim McElwain's Central Michigan football program.
The show originates from Hunter's Ale House in Mount Pleasant and will be aired live on WUPS-FM 98.5. The event is free to attend and presents an opportunity for fans to interact weekly with Coach McElwain and members of the football program. Fans will have an opportunity to ask questions of Coach Mac during the show.
The show is hosted by Chippewa Football radio play-by-play man Don Chiodo and his partner, analyst Brock Gutierrez.
Central Michigan defensive coordinator Robb Akey along with safety Da'Quaun Jamison and defensive lineman Robi Stuart are also scheduled to join the show.
The Chippewas play at Wisconsin on Saturday in a nonconference game beginning at 3:30 p.m. CMU opened the season with a 38-21 victory over Albany last week in McElwain's first game in charge of the program.
Schedule to join Chiodo during the Sideliners portion of the show are CMU volleyball coach Mike Gawlik along with Maddie Whitfield, a sophomore middle blocker.
Gawlik and his team will host the Chippewa Invitational beginning on Friday at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas opened the season last weekend by finishing 3-0 and winning the St. Francis Brooklyn Terrier Classic.
