Football Opens Season With Four National TV Appearances

The Chippewas begin the year on ESPN against Ohio.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan football is going national.
Four of the Chippewas' six games in 2020 are slated to be televised nationally, beginning with the Wednesday, Nov. 4 opener at Kelly/Shorts Stadium against Ohio. The game will be carried live by ESPN and is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
CMU's game on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Northern Illinois will be broadcast live by ESPNU and carries an 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time kickoff.
The Chippewas Wednesday, Nov. 18 game at home against rival Western Michigan will kick off at 7 p.m. and be carried by one of three networks: ESPN2, ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.
The Chippewas' game at Eastern Michigan, which has been moved to Friday, Nov. 27 with a 4 p.m. kickoff, will be carried live by CBS Sports Network.
CMU's final two games are on Dec. 5 at home against Ball State and on Dec. 12 at Toledo.
