CMU Football Update

Chippewas host Western Michigan on Wednesday.
The Central Michigan football program will remain active as it meets the extraordinary standards for risk mitigation set forward by the Mid-American Conference and the State of Michigan. Wednesday's game against Western Michigan is still set to take place at Kelly/Shorts Stadium at 7 p.m.
Due to the new state health orders, CMU will not be able to host any fans at Wednesday's game. The state orders will also not allow fans at CMU's game against Ball State on Saturday, Dec. 5.
"The health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff remains our top priority and we continue to follow the standards set forth by our medical and health leadership," Zyzelewski Family Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics Amy Folan said. "We hope all our great fans tune in on Wednesday to watch one of the great rivalries in college football."
CMU supporters can watch Wednesday's game on ESPN2 or listen on the Central Michigan Sports Properties Radio Network (click here for affiliates).
CMU Athletics is still examining the new health orders and their impact on other athletic programs, and will have a status update in the coming days.
