
Meeder Captures Weekly MAC Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Marshall Meeder earned the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week Award.
Meeder, a freshman place-kicker from Eaton Rapids, made all six of his kicks in the Chippewas' 40-10 victory last week over Northern Illinois. He was five-for-five on PATs and was good on a 40-yard field goal, his career long.
The Chippewas play host to rival Western Michigan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. (ESPN2) at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Both teams are 2-0 overall and in the Mid-American Conference and share first place in the West Division.
