Chippewas In The NFL

Eric Fisher made his 109^th NFL start on Sunday in helping the Kansas City Chiefs to a 27-24 victory over the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.

It was the 113^th NFL game for Fisher, a Central Michigan grad who was drafted No. 1 by the Chiefs in 2013 and helped Kansas City to the Super Bowl LIV championship.

Fisher, who played all 79 of Kansas City's offensive snaps, is one of eight former Chippewas to appear in NFL games during Week 12 action.

• Sean Murphy-Bunting, a second-year cornerback, made five tackles and wide receiver Antonio Brown had two receptions for 11 yards and returned one punt for two yards for the Buccaneers.

• Safety Jaleel Addae assisted on one tackle on special teams in the Los Angeles Chargers' 27-17 loss at Buffalo.

• Tight end Tyler Conklin had one catch for five yards in Minnesota's 28-27 win over the Carolina Panthers in Minneapolis. Conklin was on the field for 57 plays, 48 of them on offense, nine on special teams.

• Running back Jonathan Ward played 10 plays, all on special teams, in the Arizona Cardinals' 20-17 loss to the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Mass.

• Safety Kavon Frazier played 17 plays, all on special teams, in the Miami Dolphins' 20-3 victory over the New York Jets in East Rutherford, N.J.

• Fullback Nick Bellore made one special-teams tackle for the Seattle Seahawks in their 23-17 victory over the Eagles in Philadelphia.

• Three former Chippewas remain on the practice squads of three NFL teams. They are quarterback Cooper Rush (Dallas Cowboys), defensive back Xavier Crawford (Chicago Bears) and defensive lineman Joe Ostman (Philadelphia Eagles).
