Warren Homers In Chippewas' Loss To Bucknell

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Central Michigan baseball team collected eight hits but stranded 12 baserunners on Wednesday in dropping a 5-3 decision to Bucknell at Chain O' Lakes Park.
The loss ended CMU's five-game win streak. The Chippewas close their spring break trip with a three-game series at Bethune-Cookman beginning on Friday (6 p.m.). The Chippewas and Wildcats conclude with a doubleheader on Saturday (2 p.m.).
Zavier Warren hit a two-run homer and Chase Rollin and Zach Heeke had two hits apiece for CMU on Wednesday. It was Warren's first homer of the season.
Cam Brown (1-3) the second five CMU pitchers took the loss. Garrett Navarra started and went two innings; Brown and Garrett Willis each worked an inning; Logan Buczkowski went 2/3 of an inning and Grant Frazer went the final 3 1/3.
