Soccer Falls At Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo scored just under four minutes into the second half on Thursday and the goal stood as the Rockets handed Central Michigan a 1-0 Mid-American Conference soccer loss at Paul Hotmer Field.
The loss ended CMU's four-game win streak. The Chippewas are 7-6-0, 4-3-0 MAC. Toledo won its second straight game, improving to 9-4-2, 4-3-0.
The Chippewas finished with a 4-2 edge in shots on goal, but with an 11-9 deficit in shots. The Rockets had four corner kicks to CMU's two.
Jaelyn Dobrowolski led CMU with two shots and goalkeeper Allison LaPoint made one save.
The Chippewas return home on Sunday (1 p.m.) to entertain Bowling Green in a MAC game.
