Chippewa Men Go To Buffalo On Thursday

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan men's basketball team is scheduled to play at Buffalo in a Mid-American Conference game on Thursday, Feb. 25 (2 p.m.).
CMU is 6-13, 2-10 MAC. The Bulls are 10-7, 8-5.
The Chippewas are coming off a 96-54 home loss to Miami (Ohio) on Tuesday. It was CMU's first game in 17 days, and the Chippewas dressed just nine players for the contest and were without leading scorer Travon Broadway Jr. and point guard Devontae Lane, among others.
Thursday's game is the second of three during a five-day stretch for CMU. The Chippewas are slated to play at Ball State on Saturday (1 p.m.).
Meikkel Murray scored 16 points, Ralph Bissainthe had 14, and Caleb Huffman added 13 to lead the Chippewas against Miami.
Broadway ranks fifth in the MAC in scoring at 17.9 points per game, while Murray is second on the team in scoring at 14.3. Huffman is third at 11.6.
The Bulls posted a 102-74 win at Northern Illinois on Tuesday. It was their fifth win in their last seven starts.
Buffalo leads the MAC in scoring at 82.6 points per game and also tops the league in rebounds per game (44.3) and in opponent shooting percentage (.412). The Bulls are making 46.2 percent of their field goal attempts, ranking second in the league in that category.
Jeenathan Williams, a 6-foot-5 junior forward, leads the Bulls and ranks fourth in the MAC in scoring at 18.0 points per game, while 6-7 junior Josh Mballa is averaging a double-double at 15.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game
Mballa is the league's top rebounder and ranks 10th in scoring. Williams is the conference's sixth-best rebounder at 7.6 boards per game.
