ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Central Michigan soccer team dropped a 1-0 nonconference decision on Sunday to 18th-ranked Michigan at U-M Soccer Stadium.
The Chippewas (0-3) are scheduled to entertain Morehead State (1-2) in a nonconference game on Friday, Sept. 3 (6 p.m.) at the CMU Soccer Complex.
Michigan (4-0) scored the game's lone goal in the 63rd minute.
CMU finished with a 26-1 deficit in shots. Nine of the Wolverines' shots were on goal. Chippewa goalkeeper Allison LaPoint made eight saves.
