Football Gameday Reminders for Kelly/Shorts Stadium

Central Michigan Athletics successfully launched several new initiatives for home football games this fall and has continued to improve operations since game one to ensure the best possible experience for our fans.

Some important reminders include:

The Fabiano Brother Patio on the west side of the Chippewa Champions Center is available to all Chippewa Club members at the $500 level and above. The patio includes a cash bar and light snacks, and it opens 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Beer/seltzers sales are available to the general public this season with multiple sales points only on the west concourse. CMU is also bringing in regional food trucks to provide enhanced food options for our fans.
With CMU no longer under contract with a chairback provider, fans are encouraged to bring their own seat cushion or chairback to the stadium if it complies with the clear bag policy. Fans can also purchase seat cushions at the Varsity Shop in the northwest corner of the stadium.
Fans that need assistance on gameday with their digital tickets can visit any customer service window at the stadium.
Fans with suite and/or club seats are urged to use the Lot 64 VIP gate to ensure they receive the proper wristband and have a smooth entrance into the Pohl Club Level.
Students should enter the game at either the northeast or southeast gates. A buffer zone has been installed between the visitor bench area and the student section to comply with Mid-American Conference security guidelines.
Fans are not allowed to enter the playing surface after the game. This ensures the safety of home and visiting student-athletes and support staffs and allows for the timely breakdown of team and gameday equipment.

Central Michigan University and the athletics department thank you in advance for your patience and understanding regarding delays during your gameday experience. Staffing shortages have caused logistical challenges and, at times, longer wait times. CMU asks that you arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than normal to ensure you may be in your seats by kickoff.
