Soccer Falls To Bowling Green

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Bowling Green on Thursday at the CMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
The Chippewas slipped to 1-7-2, 0-2-1 MAC. Bowling Green improved to 3-3-3, 1-0-2.
Kennedy White scored both of the Falcons' goals, the first in the ninth minute, the second in the 31st. Maya Dean assisted on both.
Bowling Green outshot the Chippewas, 20-11 including a 13-5 edge in shots on goal. Both teams had five corner kicks.
Elizabeth Chlystun led CMU with five shots.
CMU freshman goalkeeper Emma Shingler made nine saves.
The Chippewas are scheduled to play at Northern Illinois in a MAC game on Sunday, Oct. 2 (2 p.m. ET).
