Football Finishes Third Practice

Chippewas get back to work in Wednesday morning practice; Spring Football Roster Notes.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—One-hundred-three Central Michigan Football players finished their third practice of the 2023 spring campaign with a morning session on Wednesday.
Similar to the CMU's first two practices, the Chippewas went through an intense workout wearing shells in the Indoor Athletic Center Turf Bay. Once again, position drills were interspersed with offense vs. defense mini-scrimmages. Drills included 7-on-7 offense vs. defense, wide receivers vs. defensive backs and offensive line vs. defensive line and, a variety of position drills. Following special teams, the Chippewas scrimmaged 11-on-11 offense vs. defense and concluded the day with a two-minute drill.
CMU's coaching staff held position meetings in the Chippewa Champions Center both before and after practice. Monday's practice marks the third of 15 total spring sessions. The Chippewas take a break on Thursday before returning to practice on Friday.

Other states represented include Georgia (6), Illinois (6),Texas (5), Florida (5), Ohio (4), California (3), Indiana (3), New Jersey (3), Colorado (3), Alabama (2), Pennsylvania (2), New York (2), Minnesota (2), Louisiana (1), Hawaii (1), Missouri (1), Alaska (1), West Virginia (1), Wisconsin (1).
