Football Completes Spring Practice

Chippewas conclude practice No. 15 Friday morning at Lyle Bennett Outdoor Track.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—The Central Michigan Football program completed its 2023 spring practice schedule Friday morning as it went through a two-hour practice session at the Lyle Bennett Outdoor Track. For the second straight day, the Chippewas practiced under sunny skies and 65-degree temperatures.
The Chippewas worked through another intense workout. Once again, position drills were interspersed with offense vs. defense scrimmages. Drills included 7-on-7 offense vs. defense, wide receivers vs. defensive backs and offensive line vs. defensive line and, a variety of position drills. The Chippewas scrimmaged 11-on-11 offense vs. defense and a two-minute drill.
Central Michigan's 2023 football schedule was announced on March 1. Click here to access the schedule. Central Michigan and the Mid-American Conference will announce kickoff times, television appearances, and a preseason training camp schedule at a later date.
CMU will open its 2023 football season at Michigan State on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Spartan Stadium. Kickoff time for that game has yet to be announced.
A preseason training camp schedule will be announced at a later date. The Mid-American Conference 2023 Football Media Day is scheduled for July 19-20. Time and location have yet to be determined.

Lock in your tickets now for the best seats at the best value. This year, CMU is also selling non conference road game tickets which include games at Michigan State, Notre Dame, and South Alabama. Details will be announced later and priority will go to Chippewa Athletic Fund members.
