Home Football Game Against Eastern Michigan to Kickoff at 1:30 p.m.

Next Saturday’s Central Michigan MAC football opener against Eastern Michigan at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is scheduled to kickoff at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—The Central Michigan-Eastern Michigan football game scheduled for Saturday, September 30 at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is scheduled to kickoff at 1:30 p.m., the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
As Central Michigan's MAC opener, the Chippewas will host Community and Hall of Fame Day. As part of Community Day, CMU and You Day will also take place on the Central Michigan University campus, with participants and their families invited to attend the football game. CMU students are encouraged to invite their families to campus for Family and Friends Weekend, organized by Family Central, where they can take advantage of a special ticket bundle available.
As part of game day festivities, a College Spotlight feature will also be presented and the CMU School of Music will also hold its 69th Band Day halftime performance, featuring high school bands from across the state of Michigan. Flag officers will also be recognized.
On Friday evening, CMU Athletics will host its prestigious 2023 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees in a ceremony at McGuirk Arena (6 p.m, free admission). The inductees will be honored on the field at some point during the football game.
Tickets are still available at www.cmuchippewas.com or at Ticket Central, located in the atrium of the John G. Kulhavi Events Center on campus. Ticket office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The office may be contacted at (989) 774-3045.
On Saturday, the Chippewas will travel to Mobile, Ala. for their final non conference football game against South Alabama. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
