Season finale and head coach Jim McElwain’s final game at Central Michigan will be played on national television at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT (CBS Sports Network).
CLEVELAND, Ohio—Central Michigan's football game at Northern Illinois on Saturday, November 12 is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network, the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday afternoon. The contest will be nationally televised in DeKalb, Ill.
The matchup marks the final 2024 game for Central Michigan and also the final game for Central Michigan head coach Jim McElwain, who will retire from coaching.
Central Michigan (4-7, 2-5 MAC) and Northern Illinois (6-5, 3-4 MAC) meet in football for the 60th time in a series that began in 1939. Central Michigan owns a 33-25-1 all-time record against Northern Illinois and last year the Chippewas defeated the Huskies 37-31 in a Halloween Night snow bowl.
The Chippewas have won two consecutive games vs. the Huskies and claimed back-to-back road contests vs. NIU in DeKalb.
