MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Lacrosse announced its 16-game 2025 schedule Thursday, featuring a six-game home schedule and a pair of road, nonconference matchups with two top-ten teams from the 2024 season in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) rankings.
Â
Marquette (Feb. 12) leads off the six-game home schedule, followed by Cincinnati (March 2, Noon) and Butler (April 16, 1 p.m.) in the nonconference portion. The conference home schedule features Kent State (March 16), Eastern Michigan (March 30) and Youngstown State (April 13)—all Noon starts.
Â
Visits to Notre Dame (Feb. 9; ranked No. 9 in 2024 IWLCA final poll), Michigan (Feb. 19; No. 5 in 2024) and Oregon (Feb. 22) headline the road nonleague schedule, along with a visit to Lindenwood (Feb. 16) and a spring break getaway to Western New York for Niagara (March 9) and Canisius (March 12) and a quick stop for Saint Francis (April 7). Road trips to Akron (March 23), reigning MAC tournament-champion Robert Morris (April 5), and last season's MAC Quarterfinal rematch at Detroit Mercy (April 27).

The Chippewas earned the program's first outright regular-season Mid-American Conference Championship with a 5-1 record in the league in 2024, hosting the MAC tournament for the second time in three years.
