Track & Field's Chippewa Challenge Moved to Saturday, 10 a.m.

CMU to host first outdoor meet in a decade on Saturday at Lyle Bennett Outdoor Track
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan's first outdoor track and field meet in over a decade, the Chippewa Challenge, has been pushed to Saturday, April 13, Central Michigan Athletics announced on Tuesday.
The meet was originally scheduled for Friday, April 12, but has been moved back one day due to Friday's expected weather conditions. The first field event is set for 10 a.m. with running events to begin at 11:50 a.m. after the national anthem, taking place at the newly renovated Lyle Bennett Outdoor Track in front of the CMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
