
Donahue, Stuart Earn All-MAC Recognition

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two Central Michigan baseball players have received postseason honors from the Mid-American Conference.
CMU's Jacob Donahue was named to the All-MAC Second Team and Ely Stuart earned a spot on the MAC All-Defensive Team. Both are seniors.
Donahue, who hails from Joliet, Ill., led the Chippewas and ranked fourth in the MAC with a .373 batting average.
An outfielder who last season was named to the MAC All-Defensive Team, finished the season with 10 doubles, three home runs and 23 RBI, and he stole a team-high 18 bases (19 attempts), ranking third in the league.
Stuart, a third baseman who hails from Long Beach, Calif., made just five errors on 147 chances for a .966 fielding percentage this season. He finished with 97 assists.
At the plate, Stuart hit .282 and drove in a team-high 43 runs. He also shared the team lead with six home runs.
