Martel, DePrado named 2024 Mid-American Conference Championship All-Tournament

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Mid-American Conference announced the all-tournament team for the 2024 MAC Lacrosse Championship Saturday afternoon following Robert Morris's 14-10 victory over Detroit Mercy.
Central Michigan Lacrosse was represented by junior goalie Alexa Martel (Rochester, N.Y. / Greece Olympia) and junior attack Skye DePrado (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny). Martel logged nine saves in Thursday's matchup with Detroit Mercy to land her new program season record to 202 saves; DePrado scored four goals in the contest to become the ninth player in program history to record 40 goals in a season.
The Chippewas finished the 2024 campaign as the MAC regular season champions, the first to be claimed outright in program history. The team's record concluded at 5-13 (5-1 MAC).
