Coach Mac Radio Show Returns to Soaring Eagle Casino

Weekly Coach Mac Radio Show schedule will start next week prior to CMU Football’s season opener vs. Central Connecticut State; show will air live from the Soaring Eagle Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge beginning on Tuesday, August 27 (7 p.m.); complete 12-show schedule announced.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Fans will get an inside look at the Central Michigan football program as CMU Athletics and Central Michigan Sports Properties Radio Network announce the return of the weekly Coach Mac Radio Show, presented by Fabiano Brothers to the Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino. The first show of the 2024 season is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27.
For the second straight year, the hour-long show will be broadcast live at Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge (located at the back of the main floor) and will generally take place on Thursdays or two days prior to gameday at 7 p.m. ET. Admission is free for all. Fans who are not able to make it out to see the show live can listen live on WUPS 98.5-FM or through the CMU Athletics app.
Hosted by Voice of the Chippewas Adam Jaksa and Chippewa Sports Network radio color commentator and former Chippewa offensive lineman Brock Gutierrez, CMU Head Coach Jim McElwain breaks down the weekly opponent and takes a look at the Chippewas' performance in their previous game. Each week, CMU coaches and student-athletes attend as live guests. Fans will also get the opportunity to ask Coach Mac questions about the CMU Football program as it prepares for its weekly upcoming opponent.
