Victory Cannon Trophy, Football Road Game at Western Michigan Set for 4 p.m. ET Kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 1

Contest in Kalamazoo will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan's Battle for the Victory Cannon Trophy football game at Western Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 1 has been scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET kickoff, the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday. The contest at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo will be televised nationally on ESPNU. Two trophies are at stake in Kalamazoo: the annual Victory Cannon Trophy and the Michigan MAC Trophy.
This weekend, Central Michigan (4-3, 2-1 MAC) hosts Massachusetts (0-7, 0-3 MAC) in its 2025 Homecoming Game this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The contest will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Central Michigan and Western Michigan will meet for the 96th time in football. Western Michigan holds a 53-40-2 advantage in the series which began on Oct. 19, 1907. Central Michigan claimed last year's meeting in Mount Pleasant, 16-14. The Chippewas have won three of the last six meetings in Kalamazoo and are 17-28-1 all-time in games played at Western Michigan.
