Central Michigan Announces 2025 Non-Conference Football Schedule

Chippewas to open 2025 season at San Jose State (Thursday, Aug. 28), travel to Pitt (Saturday, Sept. 6), play at Michigan (Saturday, Sept. 13), and then host Wagner (Saturday, Sept. 20); Michigan tickets to go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 27.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—The Central Michigan Football program has announced its four-game non-conference schedule for the 2025 season, the athletic department announced on Tuesday. Central Michigan and the Mid-American Conference will announce its entire schedule including conference opponents and dates at some point in the next two weeks. New Head Coach Matt Drinkall's Chippewas will open their 2025 season at San Jose State on Thursday, Aug. 28, play at Pittsburgh (Saturday, Sept. 6), then travel to Michigan for a Saturday, Sept. 13 matchup. Central Michigan's home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 20 vs. Wagner.
Tickets for Central Michigan's 2025 road games, including the Saturday, Sept. 13 contest at Michigan will go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. Chippewa Athletic Fund members will have the ability to purchase a limited number of tickets based on donation levels shown below until June 10th. Seating allocation at all games will be based on current CAF donation level. Tickets are $60.00 each for CMU's game at Michigan and are $30.00 for the San Jose State game. Pittsburgh ticket prices have yet to be set. Tickets for these three games can be purchased online at www.cmuchippewas.com or by calling the Chippewa Athletic Fund at (989) 774-6680.
Purchasing a ticket reserves your spot in the CMU seating section at these away games and tickets will be mailed later. Tickets can also be picked up prior to kickoff at Visiting Team Will Call at each respective stadium.

Lock in your tickets for the best seats at the best value. More details on season ticket renewals will be e-mailed out to season ticket holders over the next two weeks.
Three of the Chippewas' four 2025 non-conference opponents played in bowl games last season: San Jose State (Hawaii Bowl), Pittsburgh (GameAbove Sports Bowl), and Michigan (ReliaQuest Bowl).
Central Michigan's NFL Pro Day is scheduled for March 11 at the Indoor Athletic Center's Turf Bay beginning at 9 a.m. The Chippewas open spring practice on Tuesday, March 18. The 2025 Spring Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12. A promotional schedule will be announced later in the spring.
