MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan Football concluded its 2025 spring ball schedule with a spring game on Saturday afternoon at sunny Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Team Kramer (offense) scored four touchdowns, converted two extra points, and two field goals on the day, while Team Deromedi (defense) finished with three sacks, six total tackles for loss and two pass breakups.

New Central Michigan head coach Matt Drinkall was pleased with the results both today and through 13 spring ball practices.
"This is one of the best teams I've ever been around internally," Drinkall said. "One thing that's really unique about our team is that there are no egos, they're looking for authenticity, they're humble and they want to get better. They work well together. That part has been great. Overall, the whole team culture and leadership has been excellent."
For Team Kramer and the offense, running back Jakivion Calip scored two touchdowns on the day, including a 19-yard pass from quarterback Marcus Beamon, then later scored on a 9-yard touchdown run.
