Lacrosse Falls at Detroit Mercy, 9-7

DETROIT — Central Michigan Lacrosse dropped the final regular season contest of the season Sunday afternoon at Detroit Mercy, 9-7.

The Chippewa defense forced the Titans into 17 turnovers, led by four caused turnovers from Ava Regitz (Marietta, Ga. / Blessed Trinity), three more from Jozy Allen (Cincinnati, Ohio / Sycamore).

Goalie Alexa Martel (Rochester, N.Y. / Greece Olympia) recorded 11 saves for her 11^th double-digit performance of the year, fourth in a row.

CMU found a pair of hat tricks from seniors Skye DePrado (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny) and Celia Dow (Penfield, N.Y. / Penfield). Kelsey Barratt (Voorhees, N.J. / Eastern) scored once, assisted Dow's first goal of the day; Sadie Hinkle (Medina, Ohio / Medina) tallied the help on Barratt's fourth quarter strike.

Sunday's contest determined the fourth and final opening in the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championship tournament and marks the end of the Chippewas' 2025 season.
