
Men's Basketball Signs Rodney Johnson Jr.

Central Michigan, Andy Bronkema now have 14 new players on the 2025-26 men’s basketball roster.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Senior Tennessee Tech transfer Rodney Johnson Jr. has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Central Michigan Men's Basketball program, Head Coach Andy Bronkema announced on Monday.
Johnson joins 13 other members of Central Michigan's incoming 2025 recruiting class. He will enroll at Central Michigan in June. Bronkema and staff have now brought in 14 players for the 2025-26 season.
"We are excited to add Rodney to our roster at Central Michigan," Bronkema said. "The exciting part about all of our signees is that they want to win, they heard about our vision, and were excited about it. As with all of our recruits, our staff did a great job identifying our type of players and getting them to campus."
