Lacrosse Named Academic Honor Squad, 10 Chippewas on IWLCA Honor Roll

Central Michigan maintains perfect record as Academic Honor Squad since 2016 inaugural season
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Central Michigan Lacrosse was named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the ninth time in the program's 10-year history Wednesday, added 10 Chippewas to the Academic Honor Roll.
CMU has earned the team honor every season it has been available since the program's inaugural season in 2016, excluding the 2019-20 cycle as the IWLCA did not award the title due to COVID-19.
For the third straight season, the Chippewas have reached double-digits on the Honor Squad, five of which earned the selection for a second time. The full listing of CMU's representatives released by the IWLCA below:

To qualify for the Academic Honor Squad, a program must carry at least a 3.20 grade-point average; for the players' Academic Honor Roll, a cumulative 3.50 GPA and an academic standing of at least a junior.
