Central Michigan Football Coaches Show Returns to Soaring Eagle Casino

Weekly radio show schedule will start Wednesday night prior to Central Michigan Football’s Friday night season opener at San Jose State; show will air live from the Soaring Eagle Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge beginning on Wednesday, August 27 (7 p.m.); complete 12-show schedule announced.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Fans will get an inside look at the Central Michigan football program as CMU Athletics and the CMU Chippewas Sports Network announce the return of the weekly Central Michigan Football Coaches Show, presented by Fabiano Brothers to the Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino. The first show of the 2025 season is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 and will feature head coach Matt Drinkall and other guests.
For the third straight year, the hour-long show will be broadcast live at Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge (located at the back of the main floor) and will generally take place on Thursdays or two days prior to gameday at 7 p.m. ET. Admission is free for all. Fans who are not able to make it out to see the show live can listen live on WUPS 98.5-FM or through the CMU Athletics app.
Hosted by Voice of the Chippewas Adam Jaksa and CMU Chippewas Sports Network radio color commentator and former Chippewa offensive lineman Brock Gutierrez, CMU Head Coach Matt Drinkall breaks down the weekly opponent and takes a look at the Chippewas' performance in their previous game. Each week, CMU coaches and student-athletes attend as live guests.
