Homecoming Game vs. UMass on Oct. 25 Will Kick Off at 3:30 p.m. ET

All fans, alumni, and friends of the University invited to attend 2025 Homecoming Weekend in Mount Pleasant.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan's 2025 Homecoming Football Game versus Massachusetts on Saturday, October 25 is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, the two schools and Mid-American Conference announced on Monday afternoon. Television coverage for the game will be announced at a later date.
Sponsored by McLaren Central Michigan, Central Michigan will host its 97th all-time Homecoming Game dating back to Nov. 22, 1924, when it defeated Alma 13-0. The Chippewas own a 61-35-1 all-time record in Homecoming games.
On Saturday morning before kickoff, Central Michigan will host its annual Homecoming parade. A variety of other on-campus Homecoming events will be announced by the university at a later date. Stay tuned for more details.
During the game, multiple groups will be recognized, including the Homecoming Grand Marshals, the 2025 MAC champion Central Michigan gymnastics team, Chippewa Athletic Fund 1896 Club members, and Maroon & Gold Ambassadors. Fans can stop at Fan Central to pick up "Beat UMass" buttons and rally towels.
Massachusetts joined the MAC in 2025. The two schools will play for the first time since the 2013 season. The Chippewas own a 2-0 overall record vs. the Minutemen, including 1-0 at home.
Central Michigan opens its 2025 football season on Friday night at San Jose State. Kickoff is set for 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT for an FS1 national television audience.
