Field Hockey 2025 Promotional Schedule Announced

Senior Day vs. Ohio (Sept. 28)
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The 2025 promotional schedule Central Michigan Field Hockey is here!
Throughout the season, mini CMU field hockey ball tosses after CMU goals, along with a T-shirt toss between the third and fourth quarters. While supplies last, 2025 CMU Field Hockey posters will be available at Fan Central.
All events and offerings are subject to change.
HOME OPENER – vs. Mercyhurst (Sept. 5)
The first home CMU athletic event of the school year will feature free pizza for CMU students (while supplies last) and a CMU can Koozie giveaway. Pregame setup includes yard games and a bounce house. Students are encouraged to bring blankets due to limited bleacher seating.
DOG DAY – vs. Mercyhurst (Sept. 7)
Join the team in bringing out your four-legged friends to wrap up the weekend against Mercyhurst! Dog bones will be available at the Fan Central setup.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY– vs. James Madison (Sept. 19)
Falling the day after CMU Football's home opener, the Chippewas will open MAC play against the Dukes. CMU Field hockey boasts one of CMU's internationally diverse rosters with six international student athletes. Flags celebrating each of JMU and CMU international athletes will be displayed along Cristy Freese Field. During halftime there will be an acknowledgment of CMU international students recognizing their contributions to Central Michigan.
SENIOR CELEBRATION – vs.Ohio (Sept. 28)
The Chippewas will celebrate the careers of seniors Amelia Lane, Rosa Ruiz Hellin, Shannon Dwyer, Mallory Camryn, and transfer Ashley Cogger in a post-game recognition ceremony. Pre-game giveaways include maroon and gold pompoms and Chippewas Field Hockey t-shirts, while supplies last.
STAFF & FACULTY APPRECIATION / WHITE OUT – vs. Appalachian State (Oct. 10)
Wear white as Chippewa Field Hockey athletes will each recognize a CMU staff or faculty member of their choice in a pre-game ceremony. Staff and faculty will receive a 2025 CMU Field Hockey Staff & Faculty Appreciation button and a handwritten note from their players. White pompoms will be given away pregame at Fan Central.
